Job Summary: We are looking for a QA Analyst , they will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of large-scale, complex applications. Beyond hands-on testing and evaluation, this role provides mentorship to junior team members and takes the lead on key projects—guiding test strategy, coordinating efforts, and driving high standards across the QA process.

What you'll be doing:

  • Reviews and analyzes business requirements and design specifications for large/complex applications
  • Determines testing strategy and schedules; assigns testing tasks to team members
  • Develops software testing and QA standards, procedures, and new techniques
  • Identifies automation opportunities and improves testing processes
  • Researches and evaluates appropriate software testing tools.
  • Develops procedures and test cases for complex applications or components
  • Conducts Build Verification, Integration, and System Testing per departmental standards
  • Documents and reviews test results; recommends product improvements
  • Communicates test results to development teams, business analysts, and others
  • Prepares work estimates for medium to large complexity projects or tasks.
  • Mentors and provides technical guidance to junior Software Test Analysts
  • Reviews and advises on test cases created by junior staff.
  • Assists Team Leads with leadership tasks and provides regular status reports
  • Flags potential delays early and reports to Team Lead or Manager.
  • Leads test teams for specific projects; assigns and monitors work
  • Ensures adherence to testing policies and standards
  • Maintains knowledge of Central 1’s products and hosting architecture
  • Continuously learns new technologies and processes to improve applications/services
  • Performs additional duties as needed to support Central 1’s business goals

What you''ll have:

  • University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related IT discipline (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of software product design and development methods
  • Strong understanding of good programming practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of structured test methodologies, techniques, and processes
  • Skilled in manual, automated, and performance testing (simple to complex)
  • Capable of evaluating, designing, and developing testing tools and procedures.
  • Experienced in managing complex, long-duration projects to successful completion
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) with clients, technical teams, and coworkers
  • Able to work within schedules and adapt to changing priorities and business needs
  • Proven ability to lead testing efforts on projects.
  • Able to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines in a team environment

Salary range: $80,000-$95,000

The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
