Job Description & Summary A career in our Indirect Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.
Our team helps our clients optimize cash flow and reduce risk by managing challenges and identify opportunities related to indirect taxes. You’ll support our clients with all aspects of indirect taxation related to global, regional and domestic projects as well as comprehensive restructuring and compliance projects.

As an Indirect Tax Senior Associate,
you'll
work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Deal with Canadian indirect taxes which include GST/HST, provincial sales taxes, excise taxes

Advise and
assist
clients on indirect tax matters, which includes verbal and
written
communication with clients and tax authorities, research
ing
legislation/case law/publications
and drafting deliverables

Assist
clients with tax authority audits and appeals
, tax registrations and elections

Perform indirect tax due diligence
and
compliance reviews and health checks

Build meaningful relationships with coworkers within the indirect tax group, the tax team and other service lines within PwC Canada and foreign PwC firms

Use feedback and reflection to develop self
awareness, personal

and address development areas

Delegate to others to
provide

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information
The salary range* for this position is $
58,400
- $
97,500
, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience,
qualifications
and geographic location.

Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location.
