At Coghlan's, we make uncomplicated and reliable camping products that help improve outdoor experiences for the masses. With over 400 products, we help equip our customers for great times outdoors by providing them with the right tools for the job, allowing them to be what we refer a 'Camp Hero'. From outdoor dining products to fire-starting tools and everything in-between, our mission is to get more people outdoors to make memories with friends and family.
Job Purpose
We feel confident knowing you are looking after our customers and guests. You create a welcoming and positive experience during interactions. Sharing product knowledge and workingwith customers to find solutions is a highlight to your day. You keep us tidy, organized, connected and on track. You are always ready to jump in to support a department when needed. Without you, we would be a little lost.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop strong understanding of our brand and product line
- Create a welcoming environment in person, over the phone and through email
- Be primary point of contact for B2B and D2C customer inquires– log interactions, answer questions, troubleshoot problems, collaborate with other departments, resolve issues/complaints, create orders and ship replacements
- Provide existing customers with support beyond satisfaction through- Processing orders, invoicing and managing accounts (overages, shortages, missed shipments, out of stocks, vendor compliance charges)
- Manage inbound calls – direct calls, answer question, take messages
- Deliver administrative support to various departments including running reports, data entry, document management, company calendar maintenance, invoice approval and invoice dispute resolution
- Prepare post, small parcel and courier service materials
- Order office and lunchroom supplies
- Keep office supplies and lunchroom organized
- Plan and organize company event and gifts – holiday party, flowers etc.
- Manage season ticket subscription
Job Specifications and Requirements
- A passion for camping and outdoor recreation is considered a strong asset
- Previous administrative assistant or reception experience helpful
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Customer centric and self-motivated
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn Coghlan’s ERP Business
