As the Leader, Warehouse Management, you will manage and execute the strategic goals and objectives of multiple sites and overall warehouse operations, maintaining high levels of service for customer business units. In this position, you will drive operational excellence, optimize team performance and maintain operations at peak efficiency while managing a net-zero budget model that prioritizes safety, compliance, sustainability, cost savings, and waste reduction. Primary duties include:
- Coordinate a team of employees and frontline supervisors from various unions that support customers.
- Coach, support and manage supervisors to achieve annual goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic decision-making and performance management.
- Foster a positive work culture, ensuring employees have necessary skills and tools.
- Manage inventory and turnover to meet business unit needs and audit compliance.
- Maintain high service levels, manages expectations, and navigates conflicting priorities from customers, suppliers, economic factors, and political influences.
- Report, investigate and approve, incidents reported to ensure compliance, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop, utilises, and refines data to support operations, inform business decisions, and manage budgets using key performance indicators.
- Lead, support, and initiate projects to enhance warehouse infrastructure, systems, and processes, ensuring safety protocols are met or exceeded.
- Demonstrate financially conscientious approach to capital funds and reports status, budget, and risks to Manager, Warehousing and Inventory.
Qualifications
- A completed 2 year diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field and at least 10 years of progressive experience including leadership, OR:
- A degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering or a related filedfield and at least 8 years of progressive experience including leadership.
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerits and no current suspensions or charges pending is required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, operations and logistics would be considered as asset.
- Exhibited robust competencies in analytical reasoning, cooperative engagement and fostering of interpersonal connections, client-centered service, effective discourse, and a constructive outlook.

**Workstyle:¿**This position may be eligible to work from home for at least part of the time as one of several flexible work options available to City employees. These arrangements depend on the operational requirements of the role, employee suitability, and are subject to change based on operational needs and corporate direction.

Compensation: Level F $96,522 - 147,834 per annum
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
