Reporting to the Manager, Systems Development & Integration, the Integration Analyst is part of the team supporting integrations between multiple hospital applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day administration of interface jobs
  • Working with the team to diagnose and resolve interface-related issues
  • Working with business teams to resolve data related issues
  • Perform monthly refresh tasks for non-Production environments
  • Working with business to document use cases specific to integration
  • In collaboration with the QA team, help test and validate integration changes
  • Application performance tuning and troubleshooting across multi-tier applications
  • Participate in preparation and testing of regular SaaS application upgrades
  • Write SQL queries to troubleshoot and address application issues
  • Ability to coordinate activities involving multiple players, including vendors, subject matter experts, interface engine developers and end users, to design, configure and test interfaces.
  • Participating in the projects work as needed
  • Follow documentation, including adherence to consistent standards when documenting new and existing software solutions
  • Helps to improve the skills and capabilities of others and fosters their long-term learning and development through coaching and mentoring

Qualifications & Skills

  • College Diploma (3 years program), Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years working experience supporting Oracle HCM, Oracle OIC, Oracle OTBI, UKG and UKG Boomi preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL query language required.
  • Excellent understanding of multi-tier applications concepts required
  • Working knowledge of the .NET Framework, including Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps an asset
  • Familiar with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integration patterns in Healthcare environment
  • Hands-on knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7), eXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT) and Extensive Markup Language (XML) messaging standards and structures is required.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situations.
  • Ability to work with teams to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Epic Bridges certification an asset
  • Familiarity working in a Scrum Agile Framework
  • Working knowledge of the following frameworks: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
