Full Time
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Jarlette Health Services, you are an integral part of the healthcare team and under the direction of the Director of Care in the home and will manage, evaluate, and facilitate the residents’ plan of care through collaboration with the resident, family members and the interdisciplinary team.
The following traits and qualifications are required:
Candidates must possess a current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. O. Reg. 246/22, s. 51
Experience in a Long Term Care (Gerontology) setting is an asset
Perform care planning and coordination of care in a diverse multidisciplinary care team
A demonstrated use of current care technology.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Act as Charge Nurse when required
Communicate as needed with the home's physician
Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education, training, and professional development
Adhere to the guidelines and requirements of MLTC
Possess the skills to demonstrate and deliver effective, safe and resident centered care
Provide quality service that meets and exceeds the needs and expectations of the residents
Contribute to a home environment for residents that ensure the values of Jarlette Health Services are met
