About the role
HMFT Inc. is a leading national distributor of industrial fluid handling products. We provide our customers with products and services to meet their applied fluid requirements. We are currently looking for a Service Technician/Customer Service Representative in our Winnipeg branch.
Responsibilities will include: providing customer service and technical assistance on equipment; processing orders; conducting onsite preventative and emergency maintenance services to ensure the ongoing reliability of products; conducting preventative and corrective work of an electrical, mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic nature as per issued work orders in a prompt, professional and courteous manner; performing installation, commissioning, testing and inspection of equipment; as well as assisting with front line office duties.
Qualifications:
· Strong customer service orientation
· Strong communication skills
· Mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of the paint/coatings industry
· Able to work as a team player with minimal supervision
· Good organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
· Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully and professionally at all times
· Able to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer appropriate options/solutions
· Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet)
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing and able to support any after-hours building related activity as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
