Primary Purpose:
Responsible for performing various duties to upgrade, troubleshoot and test all products sold by ZOLL Medical Corporation.
Primary Functions: they are listed below and depend on the department`s needs:
- Work within limits of prescribed procedures to ensure accurate completion of unit recertification.
- Compile and record test results and ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance on ZOLL equipment and test accessories in house and at customers’ site if required.
- Perform mechanical and software upgrades to ZOLL products.
- Assist Technical Service Representatives in obtaining Purchase orders and additional information on unit failures.
- Make recommendations to improve current procedures and assist in the implementation of new procedures.
- Discuss technical problems encountered while troubleshooting or testing with Senior Technician or Group Leader
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
- Student Coop status working towards a Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics
- Problem solving, analytical/investigative skills
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Must be able to read and understand diagnostic data
- Must be familiar with the setup and use of biomedical test equipment
