Oracle Fusion ERP Finance – Lead Functional Consultant
Experience:
10+ years of experience with Oracle ERP, including 5+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage day-to-day functional support and minor enhancements across Oracle
· Cloud ERP Finance modules:
· General Ledger (GL)
· Accounts Payable (AP)
· Accounts Receivable (AR)
· Fixed Assets (FA)
· Cash Management (CM)
· Tax and Subledger Accounting (SLA)
· Work with business users to troubleshoot and resolve finance issues in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment.
· Analyze, document, and implement process improvements related to month-end close, automated reconciliation, and reporting.
· Coordinate Oracle Cloud quarterly patch assessments, regression testing, and rollout planning.
· Provide functional support for cost accounting integration, project accounting, and cross-functional scenarios with SCM modules (PO, OM, Inventory).
· Review and improve approval workflows (Invoice approval, Journal approvals).
· Liaise with technical teams on FBDI loads, BIPOTBI reports, and third-party system integrations (e.g., banks, tax engines, payment gateways).
· Mentor and guide junior consultants in support and documentation efforts.
· Ensure compliance with audit requirements and change control processes.
Skills and Experience:
· Strong domain knowledge in finance and accounting processes, including:
· Multi-ledger and multi-org accounting
· Intercompany setups and balancing
· Asset capitalization and depreciation
· Bank reconciliation and cash forecasting
· P2P and O2C process flow
· Demonstrated success in AMS or production support roles for global or enterprise customers.
· Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud configurations, FBDI, ESS jobs, BIPOTBI reports, and accounting setups.
· Understading of integration touchpoints with SCM (PO, Costing) and external systems (bank files, tax services).
· Capable of engaging both finance business users and technical teams.
