Tru Inc is seeking a Marketing Coordinator. We have 1 full time position available for an immediate start. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Location:

This role is remote, providing the flexibility to work from home. However, candidates must reside in either the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and be prepared to attend in-person meetings as required. Occasional travel to client sites or conferences may also be necessary.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator with a strong focus on social media content creation. This is a hybrid role combining marketing coordination and hands-on content production to drive engagement and brand visibility across platforms.

This role is perfect for someone with a can-do attitude, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to manage deadlines and details across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Coordination:

  • Maintain and manage campaign calendars across brand and client initiatives
  • Support execution of go-to-market plans for launches, partnerships, and thought leadership
  • Assist with drafting email newsletters, blog content coordination, and basic reporting
  • Coordinate internal communication, creative requests, and asset approvals
  • Track key campaign KPIs and organize performance summaries for internal and client reporting

Social Media Content Creation:

  • Create original content (Reels, TikToks, carousels, static graphics, and short-form copy)
  • Collaborate with the design and brand team to ensure consistency across touchpoints
  • Schedule and manage posts across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest
  • Monitor trends and implement real-time content ideas aligned with our tone and voice
  • Respond to DMs, comments, and engage with the community to build relationships

Requirements

What You’ll Bring (Experience & Skills):

  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, content, or social media role
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or other creation platforms
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools like Later, Buffer, Sprout, or Hootsuite
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities
  • Comfort being on camera for social/UGC-style content
  • Experience in fashion, retail, tech, or agency environments

  • Growth in social engagement and reach
  • Consistent execution of campaign deliverables on time
  • Uplift in community interaction and brand mentions
  • High-quality, on-brand content across all platforms
