About the role
Main Mission:
The BIM Coordinator is responsible for creating, updating, and managing 3D digital models for various engineering and construction projects. They work closely with design, planning, and field teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency of technical deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Create AutoCAD and Civil 3D drawings for project planning needs (site layouts, method drawings, earthwork quantities).
- Produce 'as-built' drawings from survey data.
- Update 3D models in Revit and Navisworks for shafts, support of excavations (SOEs), and valve chambers.
- Create visual aids in CM Builder for work plans, as needed.
- Perform 3D modeling of the tunnel in Cyclone 3D, comparing theoretical models to actual survey data.
- Provide user support on 3D modeling software (Revit, Civil 3D, CM Builder, Cyclone 3D).
- Participate in technology testing and deployment.
- Model and draft elements of assigned projects.
- Develop, implement, enforce, and update BIM standards for projects in accordance with company guidelines.
- Resolve technical issues in a collaborative BIM environment.
- Participate in the launch of new projects and in internal/external modeling development meetings.
- Collaborate with teams in the ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) and Autodesk Desktop Connector environment.
- Perform any other related tasks involving 3D modeling.
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering, architecture, technical drawing, or related field.
- Relevant experience in 3D modeling in the construction or engineering sector.
- Proficiency in software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, CM Builder, Cyclone 3D.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and collaborative modeling processes.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Analytical mindset, rigor, and autonomy.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
