Join us as a Modernization Department Center Agent
Description Your main responsibilities Modernization Department Center Agent The Modernization Department Center (MDC) Agent is responsible for preparing the technical documentation required for all modernization projects. The MDC Agent works with various business groups to achieve an effiectent and on-time set of project proposals including but not limited to equipment, personnel, and building design/layout. The Modernization Department Center Agent is responsible for the procurement and installation of lift equipment across a variety of building locations and layouts. The Modernizations Department Center Agent must be familiar with exsiting electromechanical systems across a wide range of environments. The Modernization Department Center Agent must effectively manage their own activities to ensure conformance to tendered costs, project plans and client specification for all modernization projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Correctly and accurately specify the required materials for an effiecent and timely install of the modernization project
- Ensure that all applicable modernization lift designs and regulations are adhered to
- Ensure that customer requirements are satisfied as per Lift Material Specification
- Prepare modernization proposal drawings when required for approval
- Prepare modernization manufacturing drawings for non-standard components
- Manage all the necessary modernization activities to ensure real-time project information is organized via SAP
- Provide technical support to regional sales representatives, project manager, account managers, and field engineers
- The Modernization Department Center Agent will have the organisational freedom to carry out these responsibilities and duties diligently, effectively and efficiently and will be held accountable for the on-time, correct and complete execution of these activities
What You Bring Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in installation and service of elevators/escalators, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office. SAP knowledge is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
- Correctly interpret client requirements for the on-time preparation of layout / manufacturing / proposal drawings.
- Perform all engineering / specifying activities correctly and on time, and in doing so maintaining the appropriate SAP activities.
