This role is based out of Dentalcorp’s Toronto Support Centre from Monday to Thursday and Fridays are work from home. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Finance, your primary responsibility will entail comprehensive support across all facets of the Finance Department.
In this role, you will
- Be responsible for Chart of Accounts maintenance
- Prepare month-end checklist and track progress daily
- Prepare and maintain practice budgets
- Process finance invoices in procurement system
- Maintain ticketing system by assigning finance tickets
- Maintain provider mapping
- Maintain reconciliation system
- Run GL details for analysis purpose
- Assist in inventory count file preparation
- Provide administration support to the finance team
- Investigate and resolve issues with support from other team members
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
What we're looking for
- University Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Ideally 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role/environment
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A self-starter, highly positive can-do attitude in a rapidly changing environment
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel (pivot tables and lookups), Word and PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Motivated to take on new challenges
- Excellent communication skills and a “people person”
- Bilingualism in French and English a strong asset
