Your work will include installations, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex scientific and analytical instrumentation.
This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is self-directed, detail oriented and who likes to travel on a regular basis across Canada.
- Adhere to all defined procedural guidelines for Malvern Panalytical Support Group.
- Repair and maintenance of complex scientific and analytical instrumentation.
- Perform installation of equipment from delivery to sign-off.
- Perform diagnostics and support remotely.
- Track case details in our CRM system to document service history and data analysis.
- Perform preventive maintenance per maintenance schedule and guidelines.
- Keep customers well informed and appropriate personnel on any open issues.
- Manage expenses within corporate travel guidelines.
- Travel (overnight) up to 80% of the time
- Standard work week of 37.5 h, although there is often overtime needed because of travel to various customer locations
- You will disserve primarily the Toronto area but also other Provinces.
- This job requires a valid driver’s license.
- This is a home based position
Level and experience :
- College level diploma or University degree in electrical engineering or electronics technology
- 8-10 years of experience in field service
- Experience and background in X-ray fluorescence spectrometers /XRD and Laser equipment
