Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and common areas.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, according to established standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to ensure guest comfort.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, linens, and coffee as necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Assist with the cleaning of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
