Junior Law Clerk
Ain Whitehead LLP
Ain Whitehead LLP is a law firm located in downtown Barrie. We are seeking a Junior Law Clerk to start immediately.
You will be working closely with the lawyers, and Senior Law Clerks to deliver quality legal services to our clients and will be involved in a wide variety of transactions including:
· Preparation of documents in Unity and Lawyer Done Deal (“LDD”).
· Handling large volume of files; opening files, maintaining files, filing and more.
· Providing back-up assistance to various professionals and/or assistants within the Real Estate team, as required.
· Scanning, emailing documentation.
· Uploading documentation to client portal.
· Correspondence with utility companies.
· Drafting of documentation.
Required skills:
Highly organized, detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and to work well in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail.
Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented atmosphere.
Technical skills (MS Office, Teraview, Unity, Soluno, LDD).
Salary commensurate with experience.
This position is in office.
