Job Description
As the Director, Digital Data Collection & Privacy, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of data collection and privacy initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and to enhance the customer experience through effective data management.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data collection strategies that align with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and legal teams to establish data governance frameworks.
- Monitor and report on data privacy metrics and performance.
- Lead a team of data privacy professionals and provide guidance on best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data privacy or data management roles.
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Certification in data privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM).
Additional Information
- This position is available in Toronto, Ontario, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
