About the role

Description

Our Calgary client is looking for a contractor for a three month contract to assist them with a Support Specialist role.

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for delivering frontline technical support to end users, managing service requests, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting virtual and hybrid conferencing technologies, and contributing to overall IT service management processes, including incident and problem management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and knowledgeable in a variety of modern IT tools and platforms.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
Familiarity or experience with the following technologies is considered an asset:

  • Windows 11 operating systems

  • Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, OneDrive, Planner, etc.)

  • FortiClient and Cloudflare WARP

  • HP hardware (laptops and peripherals)

  • Apple mobile devices (iPhones and iPads)

  • Virtual and hybrid conferencing platforms

  • Multi-function printers, copiers, and printing solutions
