Your primary responsibilities will include: Preparation of financial statements and tax returns in accordance with firm and professional standards for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises

Auditing financial statements of business clients as a Senior Auditor and being the lead on mandates (Senior roles ONLY)

Providing accounting and tax compliance services to private clients for compilation and review engagements

Preparing personal tax returns and trust returns for clients

Communicating effectively with clients, government agencies and with partners and staff

Providing guidance and training to other staff members

Identifying issues and opportunities

Assisting with special mandates such as valuation estimates, due diligence work, business investigations, accounting for corporate reorganizations, etcetera

Other related duties

A successful candidate will have: 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting, including audit

CPA designation (or in process)

Solid verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership and client relations skills

Proficient in MS Office applications,

Experience with CaseWare and Tax Prep is an asset

Bilingual

Keys to your success: Strong time management, planning, and organizing skills

Demonstrated ability to communicate in a way that is open, honest, consistent, and confidently conveying messages in a credible and manner

Proven ability to sustain a high level of enthusiasm, and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work

Capacity for working hard to meet demands at key times of pressure. Resilient in the face of challenges or obstacles

Application Information: Schedule: Hybrid – in office/client locations 3 days – Thursdays mandatory
