F&S Packaging is a dynamic and growing company committed to providing exceptional products and services to our customers. We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Bookkeeper to join our accounting team.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment and onboarding to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and BC Employment Standards.
- Review and update HR policies, compliance documentation, and procedures.
- Partner with department managers to fulfill staffing requirements and address employee-related concerns.
- Support the resolution of workplace and labor issues in accordance with employment legislation and internal procedures.
- Provide day-to-day HR operational support and promote a positive work environment.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, organizing employee engagement activities, and coordinating holiday celebrations.
- Assist in streamlining office processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support clear communication and alignment across departments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR generalist or administrative support role.
- Strong knowledge of British Columbia employment laws, including labor standards and workplace dispute handling.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP, HRIS or other HR systems is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic work environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese (spoken and written) is considered an asset.
