The Team Lead, Accounts Receivable will contribute to overseeing and developing the global Billing team. Your key focus operationally will be to partner with the Finance & Accounting Management as well as Account Managers in improving processes and taking charge of major projects and help support the Finance & Accounting Department in day-to-day billing management.

YOU WILL

• T he Team Lead, Accounts Receivable performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in an accounting department

• Effectively lead, manage, and oversee a global team of 2-5 staff.

• Keeping up with account reconciliations regarding unbilled revenue and revenue recognition.

• Updating and reconciling customers are billing records with Account Managers, legal, and customers.

• Investigate questionable data and make recommendations to resolve discrepancies.

• Special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Billing Team Leader role, within a medium/large-sized organization preferably in the professional services industry, as well as the following attributes:

• 5-10 years of relative supervisory work experience.

• Analytical thinking with a keen desire to improve processes.

• Experience with Workday is an asset.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, most importantly strong Excel skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

• Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work in a fluid, fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Excellent leadership skills with an ability to improve staff morale.

• Familiarity with project accounting is a plus.

• Familiarity with processing/managing multiple entities' receivables, including foreign subsidiaries, currencies, and taxes is a plus.
