Purpose & Scope

To support the Product Development and Marketing team for the development of new products and to provide additional administrative support in order to achieve best in class innovation that, in turn, supports the company’s sales growth

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and analyzing data on industry trends, consumer behavior,
• Support brand positioning efforts through SWOT analysis and customer insights
• Help create content calendars and draft posts for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Assist with influencer research and outreach
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns, product launches or event logistics
• Work with departments such as R&I, Sales, Product Launch, Packaging etc. to support various projects or tasks
• Attend meetings or brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas from a consumer or marketing perspective
• Provide summaries or presentations on relevant trends
• Help compile or organize department related documentation, innovation, samples etc.
• Assist with maintaining internal databases or product trackers
• Ensure accurate labeling and storage of product samples
• Help PD Administrator to organize and maintain inventory of Sample & Component Library
• Work with PD team to fulfill sampling initiatives – Cosmetica Curated, Core Presentations and Innovation Presentations(sample request and follow through the PD process)
• Create a maintain PD Tooling Catalogue
• Organize and maintain PD Benchmark Library
• Organizing and shipping samples
• Running light errands as required
• Putting together product kits and trend boxes
• Product testing and feedback as required
• Help team with sourcing and procurement of materials required to execute

Skills and Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post-secondary University/College program in Marketing, Business, and/or related program.
• Proficient in use of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel
• Resourceful and Flexible
• Time management, organization and budget management skills
• Strong attention to detail is essential, strong written and verbal skills required
• Creative problem solver
• Great team player yet able to work independently or cross functionally as needed
• Positive, can-do attitude, strong sense of urgency
