- Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and financial reporting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Implement training programs for new employees on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary to maintain efficient operations.
Skills
- Proficient in cash handling and financial management within a restaurant setting.
- Strong background in food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Experience in restaurant management, including team leadership and conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing and sales tracking.
- Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices to enhance overall guest experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
