Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity at our Vancouver branch for a BIM/VDC Specialist under the direction of the Director of Lean Integration to be responsible for the implementation of BIM & VDC-related technology and services. This position will work closely with the project teams to lead and assist in project delivery throughout the design and construction phases.

The salary for this position is $72,961 - $109,441 annually and is based on relevant skills and experience. Key Responsibilities

Position Specifications Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Architecture or Engineering is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of BIM & VDC services, standards, and implementation
  • 5+ years of production experience in design, drafting or engineering
  • 1+ year working for a General Contractor

Knowledge Skills And Abilities

  • Prior experience in the Construction Industry is considered an asset
  • Ability to train other employees on various BIM tools and software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use time productively, maximizing efficiency and meet challenging work goals
  • Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standards of conduct from self and others
  • Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email, web-enabled applications, and database software
  • Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education on BIM & VDC
  • Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently
