REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION(S)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited university
- Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Current IV certification, including management of central lines
- Current CPR
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE(S)

Minimum 2 years’ clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
-
Effective time management skills
-
Excellent client counselling, interpersonal and communication skills
DESIRED SKILLS**, EXPERIENCE(S)** & EDUCATION
-
TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Certification).
-
Successful completion of related Emergency courses.
-
PALS, ENC (c) & other Emergency & Critical Care Education Preferred.
-
Current CTAS certification.
ADDITIONAL PERKS AT MAHC

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Location: South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge. Applicants must reside within 125km of one of our hospital campuses or be willing to relocate prior to starting. *Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Hours of Work: Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements per the collective agreement.
