Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Sales & Print Associate to join our team at The UPS Store. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our operations, delivering exceptional customer service to every person who walks through our doors. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized, helpful assistance to customers with their shipping, packaging, printing, and other retail needs, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied.

Duties

  • Customer Service:
  • Greet customers warmly and provide professional assistance.
  • Answer questions regarding store Shipping Package tracking services, Printing and Finishing job pricing, and Mail box Services.
  • Help customers choose the best options based on their needs.
  • Shipping and Packaging:
  • Process shipments using store software and ensure accurate labeling.
  • Pack items securely to ensure safe delivery, using proper packaging techniques and materials.
  • Weigh, measure, and calculate shipping costs.
  • Printing Tasks:
  • Assist with photocopying, scanning, faxing, and other office services.
  • Prepare print jobs (resize, format, set up booklets, duplex print, etc.) using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and Fiery.
  • Retail Sales:
  • Promote and sell UPS Store products and services (e.g., packing supplies, printing services).
  • Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle customer transactions efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory of store supplies and restock as needed.
  • Other Duties:
  • Assist with mailbox rentals and mail handling, including sorting and forwarding mail.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Follow instructions well as directed by the store manager.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or escalate them to management when necessary.
  • Maintain a friendly, helpful, and professional attitude
  • Utilize strong phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries and follow-ups.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Experience with Fiery or other print systems is a strong asset
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks (is a must)
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or print shops preferred
  • Previous experience in The UPS Store is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours in Day shifts, including weekends as needed.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

  • Monday to Friday
