About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications (Windows/macOS).
- Set up new user workstations, accounts, and access permissions as per company policy.
- Assist with software installations, upgrades, and patch management.
- Respond to and log service requests using the company’s ticketing system.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-tier support or appropriate teams.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and track hardware assignments.
- Collaborate with other IT teams for system updates, rollouts, and infrastructure changes.
- Follow standard procedures and protocols to ensure security and data integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in desktop support or technical support roles.
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS environments.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
