SUMMARY: The position will be primarily based in Logistics Procurement and Planning teams, with the focus on learning Microsoft D365 to be capable of training and offering other business units support during our Go live phase. Training will cover Sales Order Entry, Procurement, Warehouse Management, Item Data Setup, and Logistics processes within the D365 system. The acquired skill set will enable the incumbent to support and provide backup for various roles within the Supply Chain group to cover any positions through vacations or absences.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as system administrator for D365, supporting Sales Order Entries, Inventory/Warehouse transactions, Purchase Order Entry, and Item data attributes, under the direction of the Supply Chain Director.
- Deploy and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to D365 transactions across relevant departments.
- Set up and manage BOM Item data in D365 to support the flow of parts through Warehouse Management, Inventory, and Shipping processes.
- Participate in data clean-up activities in coordination with the Planning team.
- Provide coverage and cross-functional support for Logistics, Procurement, and Planning teams during staff absences or peak periods.
- Support ERP-related training and ensure process adherence across departments.
- Temporarily backfill a team member on leave within the Supply Chain group, with continued ERP support responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
- Post- Secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or Project Management.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment working with subcontractors is an asset.
- Experience working with ERP Systems. Microsoft D365 experience is an asset.
