National Account Platform Sales Leader
At ivy Group, we’re supporting our client, a Canadian company with a North American footprint, in their search for a strategic, tech-enabled B2B sales leader. This newly created role will lead the launch and scale of a North American online procurement platform designed to support a distributed storefront network.
This is about helping SME to large enterprise buyers adopt digital procurement solutions and driving sustained engagement that translates into revenue and long-term growth.
You’ll operate at the intersection of digital commerce, strategic accounts, and operational rollout. Your focus: identifying and onboarding multi-location clients (new and existing), guiding them through adoption, and building a scalable, insight-driven sales engine.
You’ll join a company with decades of success and ambitious digital growth goals—one that’s redefining how customers experience and engage with procurement across North America.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the national acquisition of new existing customers for a new online procurement platform
- Lead sales strategy development, targeting procurement leaders in manufacturing, industrial, and MRO sectors
- Support onboarding and sustained engagement to drive repeat platform usage
- Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to refine messaging and campaigns
- Use CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and improve deal velocity
- Represent the company at industry events to build visibility and pipeline
What You Bring:
- 5+ years in enterprise or national account sales; B2B tech or industrial background preferred
- Experience introducing online platforms, SaaS, or procurement tools to complex buying groups
- Skilled in consultative sales — mapping needs to platform value, gaining buy-in, and driving usage
- Familiar with CRM tools and performance metrics tied to platform adoption
- Experience selling into multi-location orgs; knowledge of franchise or decentralized models is an asset
- Willingness to travel across Canada and the US (approx. 30%)
