Grade B

The Position As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer , you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions to enhance how we digitally connect with our constituent community. Working closely with the business, you will create personal interactions which enrich the experience for all our subscribers.

What success looks like? Campaign Development & Execution

  • Design, build, and manage multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications) using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools such as Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.

Data Architecture & Management

  • Design and maintain Data Extensions, Lists, and synchronized data structures, with a clear understanding of Standard, Synchronized, and Salesforce Data Extensions.

Platform Integration & Automation

  • Integrate SFMC with Salesforce CRM and third-party platforms (e.g., Sitecore, Commercetools) using REST/SOAP APIs, Talend, or Snowflake.
  • Configure and schedule automations for data imports, SQL queries, triggered sends, and other recurring processes.

Development & Troubleshooting

  • Develop and maintain AMPscript and SQL for dynamic content personalization and data manipulation.
  • Monitor system and campaign performance, troubleshoot issues across journeys, automations, and email sends, and ensure platform stability.

As Our Ideal Candidate You Will Have

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Proficient in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, HTML/CSS, and JSON for dynamic content and data manipulation.
  • Strong understanding of Marketing Cloud Connect, API integrations, and data synchronization strategies.
  • Experienced with core SFMC tools including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and related data privacy regulations.
  • Proven experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM and external platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Data Extensions, Contact Models, and Subscriber Management.
  • Ability to translate marketing strategies into scalable, technical implementations.

The salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $73,000 and $91,000. We comprehensively evaluate a variety of factors to determine fair compensation, including experience, specific job-related skills, and relevant educational or professional training. Additionally, we ensure that compensation is equitable across our team and aligns with current market trends. This role also qualifies for an extensive benefits package and generous paid time off.
