About the role
Our overnight health care aides monitor two buildings throughout the night for emergency purposes for our senior residents. We are looking for a health care aide who is able to work Thursday-Sunday or Saturday-Wednesday nights from 10:30PM to 7:00AM as soon as possible.
Duties include:
- Building rounds every hour
- Administering first aid
- Assisting residents to use the washroom
- Checking vitals, temperature and blood pressure as required
- Providing simple wellness checks
- Escorting residents to their suites
- Calling emergency services or contacts as needed
- Answering the building phones
- Updating a communication log
Health care aide certification and background checks are required. Prior experience is recommended.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
