ToolTown is looking to hire a part time Retail Sales Associate to join our team! We are a family-owned business in Thunder Bay, ON. We are currently seeking a part-time Sales Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their needs, and working with the store manager to execute daily sales goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Previous retail experience, preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stand for long periods of time, and walk.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Essential Duties: The essential duties of the position include:

• Welcome customers in the store
• Answer phone calls and provide customer service
• Order merchandise and check out customers using an iPad iPad Air or other computer systems.
• Maintain store visual appearance and standards.
• Maintain store operations including stocking shelves, operating window displays, preparing food, etc.
• Participate in training provided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Shift:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Work days:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Thunder Bay, ON P7B 4A1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)
