Your role
Reporting to the Manager, User and Relationship Marketing, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing and tracking interactive digital initiatives that boost public engagement with Radio-Canada. You’ll also moderate our social media accounts, ensuring all interactions comply with established netiquette.
Key tasks:
Planning
- Collaborate on developing interactivity and public participation strategies tailored for various digital platforms.
- Help brainstorm and plan engaging campaigns (quizzes, contests, surveys, etc.).
- Attend meetings with partner teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects and initiatives (content, communications, digital products, etc.).
- Propose interaction mechanisms and user journeys that foster public engagement and loyalty.
- Work closely with internal partners to support them in developing, validating and launching interactive experiences.
Implementing
- Design and launch interactive digital experiences using the Qualifio tool.
- Adapt interactive content to ensure accessibility and consistency across multiple platforms.
- Provide daily moderation of comments and messages on Radio-Canada’s social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) ensuring adherence to guidelines and fostering a positive environment for engagement.
- Work with content and communications teams to escalate sensitive comments or those requiring special attention.
Monitoring
- Monitor trends in digital interactivity and social media moderation.
- Continuously ensure adherence to best practices in the design, delivery and accessibility of online interactive experiences.
- Prepare performance reports for interactive experiences (participation, engagement, etc.) and moderation activities (comment types, volumes, incidents, etc.).
- Propose adjustments or recommendations to optimize future campaigns or improve moderation processes.
This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Please note that this a 12-month, full-time assignment. The position can be based in Montreal, Quebec or Ottawa.
What you bring:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or equivalent
- Three (3) years’ related experience
- Knowledge of SaaS tools for creating interactive digital and/or social media campaigns is an asset
- Experience developing user journeys is an asset
Skills:
- Keen interest in the media and current events, along with good general knowledge
- Thorough, analytical mind
- Passion for organization and co-ordination
- Self-reliance, versatility and resourcefulness
- Creativity
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping them on schedule
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt flexibly to change
- Excellent command of spoken and written French
