About the role
Cottonwood Coulee Golf Course is hiring Pro Shop Attendant for the remainder of the golf season. We are seeking friendly, driven, and mature individuals to join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests, provide prompt, courteous and friendly customer service.
- Check guests in, collect fees, and book tee times; inform players of course rules and regulations.
- Sell merchandise and accurately reconcile cash register sales at the end of shift.
- Keep updated on and provide information on upcoming tournaments and events.
- Assist guests with all their needs while in the pro shop; Ensure complaints are dealt with in a pleasant manner and recorded to the manager.
- Maintain the pro shop environment by keeping the shop neat and orderly by completing general housekeeping duties; straighten merchandise displays, clean facility, and any other tasks that may be assigned.
- Book camping reservations: taking payment and assisting our guests with any questions or concerns they may have.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and be a critical thinker.
- Provide proper phone etiquette. Answering calls professionally, speaking clearly, actively listening, introducing yourself promptly, maintaining a positive tone
- Able to work independently and under pressure at times.
- Present a clean and professional appearance. Follow work dress code.
- Basic computer knowledge with a willingness to learn.
- Available to work from the beginning of golf season (early April usually) until the close of the golf course in late October.
- Preference given to those with flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous golf course experience or knowledge of the golf industry is an asset.
