About the role
Key Responsibilities
Provide financial reporting and strategic support to management and cross functional departments:

- Prepare period end reports, analysis and reconciliations to support the organization’s monthly and annual financial reporting requirements
- Compile multiple entity trial balances and prepare consolidated financial statements in Microsoft Excel
- Review, prepare or post journal entries as needed to accurately close our period end
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to provide regular reporting and ensure proper coding of expenses and journal entries
- Liaise and assist with various financial statement and other audits
- Partner with project managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements with implementation of new systems or enhancement of existing systems;
- Continuous improvement of various financial and sales tool systems (IFS, SM1) with enhanced process and procedures recommendations
- Work with all stakeholders to drive efficiencies, save costs and challenge the status quo to ensure targets are delivered.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of progressive work experience in accounting
- CPA designation
- Advanced skill level working with Microsoft Excel, and demonstrated ability working with other Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with IFS is an asset, but not required
- Experienced in preparing consolidated, multi-currency financial statements and notes
- Experienced in full cycle accounting and managing period end close processes
This is a hybrid role based out of our Richmond, BC office and will pay a base salary between $80,000 - $105,000 with a $10K retention bonus at the end of your contract.
