About the role
Role Overview: The Avanade People Engagement Lead will lead the overall internal communications and people engagement strategy for Avanade. Reporting to the Accenture Head of People Engagement this role will ensure timely, engaging and innovative communications programs across the Avanade organization, supporting the CEO alongside other leaders. The role will also entailing managing one direct report: Consultant, People Engagement and Internal Communications.
Key Responsibilities will support the following:

Set and lead an overall internal communication strategy to scale and support the needs of Avanade’s growing business, integrating the latest in innovative thinking, technology, and communications best practices.

Responsible for CEO Communications including internal written communications, videos, scripting and preparing the CEO for internal meetings and external press and speaking engagements. The role will liaise closely with the CEO and the CEO Chief of Staff.

Engage with key leaders of Avanade Business functions to identify communications needs and then work closely with Accenture to design scalable communications programs that inspire employees and build engagement

Oversee the execution of global internal communications programs, foster employee engagement through platforms like Viva Engage, Teams and other channels

Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and other senior EC members on all communications-related matters, including leadership communications, strategic updates and performance messaging.

Avanade POC for crisis communications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in corporate communications, marketing or related field.
- Experience in the technology industry and for a large, global organization is desirable.
Services required from Accenture
- Execute on defined communications strategy and programs through platforms like Viva Engage, Teams and other channels
- Engage directly with key Business leaders and stakeholders to act on their communications programs and requests
- Crisis communications execution
- Writing: leadership or organizational change announcements, Viva posts, scripts and talking points.
- Analytics and insights to report on results, refine tactics, measure engagement, and optimize results to accelerate our overall impact and reach.
