Duties
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations.
- Assist passengers with heavy luggage or packages as needed.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing regular inspections and basic maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with passengers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and any incidents that may occur during shifts.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps to ensure timely arrivals.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse passengers.
- Capability for heavy lifting, assisting passengers with their belongings as necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with passengers and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Familiarity with local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns is advantageous.
