About the role
Our client, an entrepreneurial and high-growth operator in the quick service restaurant (QSR) space, is seeking a driven and analytical finance professional to join their expanding team. As a publicly traded company with an acquisitive mindset, they are building a diverse portfolio of emerging food brands and are looking for someone ready to take ownership of financial performance at the brand level.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role that offers exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence strategy and operations across a dynamic, multi-unit environment. It’s an ideal next step for someone with a strong finance foundation who is eager to grow into a broader finance leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the brand-level P&L, leading the monthly close process and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Partner with brand operations leaders to analyze and optimize costs, drive margin improvement, and support top-line growth initiatives.
- Lead the forecasting and annual budgeting process for assigned brands, including regular re-forecasting and variance analysis.
- Oversee key finance functions such as procurement tracking and treasury management, ensuring effective cash flow planning and control.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that deliver actionable insights to brand and executive leadership.
- Work closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams (including Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain) to align financial strategy with business goals.
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance, ideally with exposure to both FP&A and operational finance.
- CPA designation (or in progress) is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc. is a plus).
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proven ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and influence decision-making.
