Join Our Caring Team as a Part-Time Home Support Worker in Richmond, BC

Are you a compassionate and experienced caregiver looking for meaningful, flexible work? At Home Instead Richmond, we believe caregiving is more than just a job—it’s a calling. We’re currently hiring Part-Time Home Support Workers to help seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes while maintaining their independence.

Competitive Compensation:Earn between $19.02 and $21.47 per hour, based on experience. Paid online training included.

What You’ll Do

Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting, hygiene)

Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities

Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands

Provide transportation to appointments or outings, if needed

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using our digital Care App (WellSky)

What We’re Looking For

At least 6 months of professional caregiving or home support experience (experience with seniors preferred)

Comfortable working a flexible, changing schedule based on client needs

Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred

Strong communication skills, compassion, and dependability

Able to pass a criminal background check

Certifications in CPR/First Aid and/or Food Safe are assets, but not required

Job Requirements

Must reside in or near Richmond, BC

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Citizen, PR, or valid Work Permit)

Availability for a range of shifts, including different lengths and times
