Opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Information Systems Analyst to join our team as a key contributor in ensuring the smooth operation, adoption, and continual improvement of our critical systems and data infrastructure. This role plays a vital part in supporting end-users through clear documentation, training, and process mapping, while championing data hygiene and governance across the organization. You will work closely with diverse stakeholders to analyze workflows, maintain system integrity, and drive enhancements that improve operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. How You'll Contribute
User Support, Documentation & Process Mapping

Develop and maintain systems documentation, user manuals, how-to videos, and training plans.

Deliver task-specific training to ACF system users through various formats.

Support end-user training to promote effective system adoption and adherence to related processes.

Create and maintain comprehensive Contact Relationship Management (CRM) data dictionaries in line with industry standards.

Analyze and map current-state workflows to support effective system use and best practices.

Document risks, issues, and decisions related to system design and support.
-
Maintain clear, consistent communication with stakeholders to align on system changes and enhancements.
Data Hygiene & Governance
- Promote a data-literate culture by encouraging best practices in data entry, analysis, and evidence-based decision-making.
- Support system integrations with ACF’s primary CRM system.
- Coordinate regular data integration and database administration to meet downstream user needs while minimizing system disruptions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain routine data audits and hygiene practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data privacy and protection regulations in all data handling.
- Monitor and identify risks related to data policies, procedures, integrations, extraction, dissemination, and integrity; recommend appropriate solutions or corrective actions.
- Respond professionally and promptly to internal and external data requests in line with established policies and procedures.
System Maintenace & Support

Monitor system health, including performance and data quality; generate regular status reports and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for CRM system enhancements.

Provide recommendations and insights to inform system design decisions based on analysis and stakeholder input.

Support the design and implementation of information systems that align with organizational needs and improve efficiency.

Conduct ongoing testing and quality assurance to ensure system changes meet functional and performance standards.

Establish and execute robust testing protocols for key system upgrades.
-
Coordinate with third-party vendors and Alberta Health Services IT to report and resolve issues with minimal disruption to users.
What You'll Bring to the Team
-
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence) or an equivalent combination of education and 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.

Industry certifications related to systems, data management, or IT (considered an asset).
-
Proficiency in procedural documentation, issue analysis, end-user training, and/or customer support.

Strong understanding of data management and data governance standards.
-
Experience in systems configuration and design, database administration, and IT infrastructure.
-
Familiarity with CRM systems; Salesforce experience is a significant asset.
-
Experience working in or with the non-profit sector is considered an advantage.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, paired with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
