Role Overview
The PCVRS Claims Manager leads the Invoicing and Collections team for the PCVRS partnership with WCG, ensuring quality assurance of revenue postings and timely invoice generation in alignment with internal and external funder requirements. This role demands strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently, while also fostering positive stakeholder relationships. Key responsibilities include resolving billing issues, minimizing accounts receivable delays, and providing strategic leadership to enhance the claims management process, all with a focus on operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality assurance, invoicing and accounts receivable cycle for PCVRS, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions.
  • Manage credit, collections, and reconciliation processes to reduce delinquencies.
  • Build, mentor, and support a high-performing claims team while overseeing administrative functions.
  • Develop and deliver weekly performance and efficiency reports to drive continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve account issues, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates on invoicing and collections status.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education required; additional certifications in finance or business are an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related financial function.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solution-focused mindset.
  • Analytical thinker with experience managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to set clear goals, monitor performance, and foster team engagement and motivation.
