A day in the life:

• Provide a positive, engaging and memorable experience for all our customers
• Welcome our customers with a warm and friendly greeting as they enter the store
• Provide each and every customer with your undivided attention when they are at your station
• Maintain a clean, organized and stocked workstation
• Ensure transactions are processed efficiently and accurately by following store procedures
• Take every opportunity to offer gift wrapping, gift bags, gift cards and accessories that may complement the customer's purchase
• Restock and merchandising of surrounding areas
• Utilizing your knowledge and passion for wine, beer and spirits when assisting all customers
• Make all customers aware of current sales and promotions
• Take every opportunity to be restocking and facing the shelves so that the store is always looking its best
• Assist in the unloading and shelving of all orders as they arrive at the store
• Show initiative during slow periods

Skills:

• Understanding and experience using various POS systems
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Accuracy and efficiency when processing transactions
• Ability to consistently lift 30lbs
• Customer Service and salesmanship skills

• 1-2 years retail or customer service experience
• Serving it Right certificate

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.75-$21.15 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Work days:

• Every Weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Langley, BC V3A 4Y1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
