Purpose of the role
Reporting to the Head of Graphic Design Production, the Retoucher is responsible for retouching campaign and e-commerce photos, as well as performing color editing. As a member of our Studio Production team, they ensure that all retouched images comply with La Vie en Rose/Bikini Village’s guidelines and are delivered on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and familiar with the fashion and photography industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Retouch marketing campaign and e-commerce photos while ensuring accurate product color matching;
- Retouch creative product images (without models);
- Retouch flat product images (pinned, no models);
- Perform color correction on product images for e-commerce use;
- Export, organize, and upload retouched images according to established processes;
- Print color proofs for suppliers;
- Adjust color and lighting using CaptureOne;
- Use optimal retouching methods that align with the artistic direction to deliver high-quality content;
- Maintain a smooth workflow by following established processes;
- Stay up to date with current production methods and creative direction;
- Explore and apply AI solutions to assist with photo retouching and automate tasks to improve efficiency and delivery speed.

- Retouching expertise: You're comfortable with major edits and know how to transform an image while preserving its essence.
- Strong artistic sense: Light, color, texture, and shape hold no secrets for you—you interpret them with precision to create striking visuals.
- Multitasking efficiency: You're able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Organization and precision: You plan, prioritize, and execute tasks methodically while keeping a strong global vision.
- Adaptability: You're flexible and can quickly adjust to shifting priorities and unexpected changes
- Strong team spirit and excellent communication and interpersonal skills: You collaborate easily and contribute positively to team dynamics
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in commercial retouching;
- Previous experience in fashion and/or e-commerce;
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and image processing;
- Advanced knowledge of CaptureOne and color correction;
- Excellent understanding of photography and lighting (an asset);
- Experience working in a Mac environment;
- Experience using AI tools (an asset)
- Experience replacing products in campaign images when samples are missing during the shoot (an asset):
