Senior Accountant – Assurance, Tax & Compilation
Location: [Remote, with monthly hybrid in-office day]
Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 (flexible based on experience)
About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking public practice firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a CPA who thrives in a flexible, balanced work environment and has strong experience across compilations, tax, and assurance engagements.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and review compilation engagements , corporate tax returns, and personal tax filings
- Lead and contribute to assurance engagements (review and audit files)
- Liaise with clients to gather documentation, provide updates, and offer advisory-level insights
- Work both independently and collaboratively in a cloud-based, tech-forward environment
- Help mentor junior staff when needed, with an eye toward quality and efficiency
- Self-manage workload and deadlines with autonomy and accountability
What We’re Looking For
- CPA designation (or in final stages)
- 2–4 years of public practice accounting experience, with exposure to both tax and assurance
- Excellent working knowledge of accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
