Oxford Builders Supplies Inc. is a full-service equipment and maintenance supplier, providing a broad range of new and used equipment to the construction industry. Tower cranes, construction hoists, scaffolding, safety fence, concrete formwork, architectural specialties along with numerous other construction necessities. Oxford Builders Supplies is committed to providing the industry with the best quality equipment and excellent service.
As a Operations Manager, Oxford You Will
- Responsible for Division P&L and success of the division area and yard.
- Process Optimization, identifying and implementing improvements to operational process to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Provide equipment, service and delivery to all customers while maintaining cost controls and increasing market share & profitability
- Workflow Management, overseeing flow of rentals, rental returns, sales.
- Safety and Compliance, enforcing safety protocols and legislative requirements for equipment handling and usage.
- Team Leadership: supervising motivating staff, rental coordinators, office administrators, mechanics, delivery drivers, yard personnel.
- Training and development: Ensuring staff are properly trained on equipment handling, maintenance, and customer service procedures.
- Performance management: Setting performance goals, targets and objectives for all direct reports, providing critical feedback and coaching.
Is this role right for you?
- You have a college diploma with a minimum 10 years related work experience managing equipment yards.
- You have strong customer service and business development skills
- You have experience preparing quotes, estimates and quarterly budgets
- You have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- You have experience in the general equipment maintenance field, utilizing rental software programs
- Work requires light physical exertion, limited visual and/or auditory concentration, manual dexterity and/or strain
- Working conditions: Exposure to some undesirable or unpleasant environmental characteristics. Physical environment has minimal safety and health risk.
