Who Are You?
This position is primarily responsible and accountable for managing all incoming sales inquiries for business development, customer service, product sales and development, product training, pricing, inventory management, team building and reporting.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position will collaborate with several departments to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth while fulfilling all the values of Weldco 2.0.
What Will You Do?
- Maintain relationships with existing customers
- Identify, develop, nurture and establish new customer relationships
- Maintain and update customer contact database on a regular basis to ensure account information is accurate
- Promote and sell WBM products and services while employing ethical business practices
- Negotiate and close sales deals and maximize the capability of the production department
- Understand, identify and accurately relay pertinent customer information to the engineering department for product development
- Provide full customer service to ensure customer satisfaction before, during and after the sales transaction
- Collaborate with customers to accurately forecast their potential product requirements on a quarterly and annual basis
- Communicate with other sales staff to ensure customer orders are accurately processed and delivered in a timely fashion
- Respond to all product and service inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Keep abreast of the development of new products and services
- Develop and participate in dealer training programs
- Manage margins through competitive pricing, which aims for profit maximization and continuous product improvement
- Plan and control inventory based on forecasts and usage as outlined in the business plan guidelines
- Coordinate with production to maximize our capacity for planning and scheduling
- Process returned items to inventory and issue credits to the customer

Diploma or certificate in a related field

Minimum of 2 years of sales experience

Proven ability to build and sustain lasting relationships with key internal stakeholders and employees.

High degree of professionalism and a proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Knowledge of heavy duty attachment products
-
Must have a good understanding of the technical sales process and cycle

Must understand ethical sales and marketing practices
-
Strong interpersonal skills to relate to all customers and co-workers at all levels

Basic mathematic skills to perform accurate calculations

Computer skills to utilize and maximize the capability of various software applications to enhance productivity

Effective interviewing skills to probe customers about their needs
-
Effective communication skills to listen, write and speak in a clear and concise manner to individuals at various levels
