Purpose of the position
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Web Experience Coordinator to support the evolution of SMART’s digital ecosystem. Reporting to the Team Lead, Web Experience, this role will help manage web-based projects, publish and maintain digital content, and champion accessibility and SEO best practices across SMART’s global websites.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of SMART’s websites, including authoring and editing content in alignment with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.
- Coordinate and manage web projects from initiation to delivery, using established project management methodologies.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by gathering and clarifying requirements, coordinating meetings and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Maintain project timelines and track progress to ensure timely and successful execution of digital initiatives.
- Contribute to the ideation, creation, execution, and analysis of A/B testing strategies to optimize site performance and user engagement.
- Partner with regional teams to evolve authoring workflows and streamline localization processes.
- Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to web publishers; escalate technical issues to web development as needed.
- Inform and support SMART’s digital content strategy by identifying areas for improvement, recommending strategic content placement, and helping deliver a cohesive, engaging experience for website visitors.
- Assist in the execution of SMART’s SEO strategy, including on-page optimization, technical SEO, and, performance tracking.
- Review and manage content quality and accuracy across web properties; support QA testing and provide feedback on change requests.
- Maintain and update website content regularly to ensure information remains fresh, accurate and aligned with business goals.
- Manage the full content lifecycle—from editing and coordinating translations to securing approvals and publishing in the CMS.
- Assist with validation and testing of website features and functionality before deployment.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies; recommend improvements to enhance the overall digital experience.
- Coordinate maintenance and development of web templates with web developers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, digital media, marketing or communications or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years’ experience in a digital or web coordination role, ideally within a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Experience with enterprise-level CMS platform (Sitecore preferred) and marketing automation tools like HubSpot.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development fundamentals.
- Proven project management experience with strong attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships.
- Experience in SEO/ in-site search or web content strategy would be considered a strong asset
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Azure DevOps, Confluence.
- Familiarity with web analytics and marketing tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Mouseflow, SEM Rush, etc.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and user-centric design principles would be considered an asset.
- Excellent, fluent written and spoken English.
Supervision
- This position does not have any direct reports
