The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a full-time Reach Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving inventory throughout our Distribution Centre as the main operator on the shift. When not operating the reach truck, you will assist in other areas of the warehouse, such as picking or packing orders.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift while consistently practicing safe operating habits
- Assign, stage and relocate product according to order and restock requirements
- Support inventory control with accurate processes and documentation
- Ensure that any movement of inventory is scanned with RF scan guns
- Consolidation and segregation of inventory locations
- Ensure the accuracy of products taken to and from pick locations
- Load and unload incoming or outgoing trucks
- Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, trailers and lifting devices as required
- Perform daily forklift inspection
- Adhere to company safety policies and safety compliance regulations
- Assist with picking and packing orders
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating one or more of the following is required: Raymond Reach Truck, Crown Reach Truck, or Counterbalance Forklift
- A valid forklift certificate is preferred, but not required
- Must be motivated, have a strong work ethic and be detailed-oriented
- Must be a team player with respect for co-workers and customers
- Must have excellent verbal communication and effective listening skills

Lifting of heavy product weighing up to 50 lbs and spending prolonged periods on your feet is required
