RAISE Underwriting is an independently owned, Canadian Managing General Agent (MGA), dedicated to being an industry-leading supplier of risk insurance and surety products through transparency, honesty, and integrity.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the underwriting team to ensure that account management expectations are met
- Accurate and timely preparation of account security documents
- Review active files regularly to ensure all essential underwriting and security information is current and updated
- Setup up new account files in underwriting/accounting system
- Invoice all fees, bonds/policies and endorsements in accounting system
- Ensure all correspondence and underwriting information is properly filed
- Process contract status reports on a monthly basis
- Follow-up with brokers for outstanding bonds and underwriting information
- Other ad hoc tasks and reporting as requested
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary education in a relatable field such as accounting, finance, or commerce is preferred
- Prior experience with Applied/EPIC is an asset
- Must be technologically savvy and data-driven, including proficiency in Excel
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development including insurance courses and certifications
