About the role

Qualifications, Experience & Ability

  • Core French/Integrated French Teacher

  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Education Degree;
    • French Second Language Methodology
    • Minimum Advanced French Proficiency (as verified by the OPI instrument)
    • Teaching methods courses at corresponding levels (Grades 4 to 6 Core French requires Elementary methodologies, Grades 7 to 12 Core French requires Secondary methodologies)
  • Minimum Experience

  • Minimum Ability

    Predominately demonstrated through the interview process, the candidate will be assessed on their ability to effectively deal with situations that are likely to arise. External applicants must meet a minimum threshold of 70%.
